The MLK Nurse Resident Program applications will be posted on our website on Monday, November 7, 2022. Program will start on Monday, January 9, 2023.

Positions will be opened for: Med Surge/Tele,  ED , ICU

All positions will require to work days or nights once preceptor training has been completed.

 Requirements

•  Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
•  ACLS, BLS, PALS (ED only)
• 2 letters of recommendation (will need to be upload with application)
• Interest statement for the unit you are interested in. (will need to be upload with application)
• Current RN CA License in good standing, Must have completed RN License within the last 18 months.

 Structure

• 12-16 week traning program
• Day Shift Instruction and preceptor ship training can be schedule during the day or night shift.

•  If selected must to attend all training until completion of program, no time will be approved

 All New Hires will be eligible for benefits and will be provided with Nurse Resident hourly rate.

Background

20one Clinic is assessing biological age in all 78 organs, to prove it is possible to reverse the aging process using evidence-based interventions.

We are offering an enthusiastic and dynamic nurse or medical assistant the chance to join our team and assist personally with one of our clients who is undergoing the aging assessment and reversal process. You will join a team of longevity medical doctors, PhDs, physiologists, diverse medical specialty doctors, sonographers and 20one’s enthusiastic longevity community.


Requirements:

• Enthusiasm for using the latest technology to measure biological age in all 78 organs and for our mission to reverse aging in our clients.
• Ability and eagerness to learn many new medical device testing procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency with using iOS software, Windows computers and basic Excel data entry.

Training & support will be provided.


Your role

You will liaise with Oliver Zolman MD and other health professionals to manage the aging assessment and reversal protocols for the client.

Examples:

• Setting up medical devices on Windows and iOS
• Liasing with other healthcare professionals of all types
• Identifying providers of rejuvenation tests and therapies in LA
• Assisting with publication of results
• Performing tests,recording and summarising results such as (expert training will be provided, no prior knowledge is needed):
• Ambulatory brachial and central blood pressure
• Ambulatory glucose monitor fitting
• Ambulatory ECG monitor fitting
• Sleep apnoea home device explanation
• Exercise testing including treadmill tests and VO2 max, resting metabolic rate
• Arterial testing such as pulse wave velocity
• Retinal and lens imaging device usage
• Oral imaging
• Hair imaging
• Nail imaging
• Skin imaging
• Audiogram
• Grip strength
• 22 lead ECG
• ABPI
• Posture angle measurement
• Heart and lung auscultation
• Spirometry and other lung device tests
• Body composition analysis
• Top to toe physical exam with proforma to follow (eg, lungs, heart, joints, sensory and motor nerve)
• Other tests
• PubMed research, summarizing studies (all training and ongoing support will be provided for reading papers and analyzing studies, but prior experience is preferred)
• Working with compounding pharmacies
• Many other things that will come up constantly
