Health Requirements

Health and Academic Entry Requirements for Incoming Students

Incoming nursing students are required to complete health requirements to comply with hospital policies and ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and themselves. These requirements include immunizations, physical exams, and screenings to protect against contagious diseases and confirm physical fitness for the demands of clinical work. Compliance with these health standards is mandatory, as it aligns with hospital protocols and public health guidelines. Completing these requirements before beginning clinical placements is essential for students to participate fully and safely in hands-on learning experiences within healthcare settings.
