Previously Visual Arts - Animation

This program offers introductory training to students in a range of entertainment production areas including 2-D storyboarding, 2-D and 3-D keyframe animation, 2-D and 3-D character, object, and environment design. Acquiring this degree prepares students to transfer to 4-year degree programs in animation, visual effects, and game design. Students must complete all required courses in order to reach 24-25 units. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program students will be able to Create 2-D and 3-D character designs, storyboards, or animations. Create video game play levels or assets.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
