Associate in Science for Transfer - Mathematics

The AS-T in Mathematics provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AS-T in Mathematics will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Mathematics or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system. Please consult a GCC counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to solve applications in math and science using derivatives, integrals, differential equations and linear algebra; evaluate limits, derivatives and integrals; solve a variety of rudimentary and second order differential equations; and analyze, synthesize and evaluate theorems in Linear Algebra.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Science degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
