Associate in Arts for Transfer - Sociology

The AA-T in Sociology provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AA-T in Sociology will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Sociology or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system.  Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to Critically analyze and evaluate social phenomena, which involve social institutions and processes, within various contexts from the local to the global. 

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
