Associate in Arts for Transfer - Philosophy

The AA-T in Philosophy provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AA-T in Philosophy will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Philosophy or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system. Please consult a GCC counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to Demonstrate a critical understanding of the issues, arguments, and metaphors that structure our cultural lives. Demonstrate a critical understanding of the issues, arguments, and metaphors that structure our political lives.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
