Associate in Arts for Transfer - Anthropology

The AA-T in Anthropology provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AA-T in Anthropology will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Anthropology or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system. Please consult a GCC counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the program, students will Develop a broad and critical understanding of the complex interconnections between the human and environmental forces in their world. Analyze and describe how culture acts as our primary adaptive response.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
