Byron Delto earned his B.M. from Berklee College of Music with a dual major in Guitar Performance and Commercial Arranging and he also has an M.M. from San Diego State University in Jazz Studies.
He has an M.M. from Southern Utah University in Music Technology with an emphasis in audio for games.

As an active freelance guitarist, Byron has been featured with the San Diego Symphony Pops, the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, and the San Diego State Jazz Ensemble #1. He has performed in numerous musical theatre pit orchestras (Fosse, Evita, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Batboy, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, plus many others) and bands backing a variety of musicians and performers including Sutton Foster, Cherry Jones, Michael Feinstein, Alan Broadbent, Patti Page, Patrick Swayze, John Lithgow, Don Rickles, and Clay Aiken. Byron also performs regularly with his wife Clare as a jazz guitar and voice duo.

At Glendale College Byron directs the guitar, commercial music, and jazz programs and has directed the Big Band and the Jazz Guitar Ensemble. His usual courses include Intro to Music Technology, Live Sound, Electronic Music, and Applied Music. Byron is a certified Pro Tools Expert, Sibelius Instructor, and an Apple Logic Certified Pro.
