The Intermediate and Advanced ESL Pathway certificates are designed to prepare non-native English speakers to succeed in various academic and career pathways. Students completing these certificates achieve academic English skills at an intermediate/advanced, postsecondary level. They also achieve success in prerequisite or introductory coursework in a variety of degree, certificate, or general education patterns.
Intermediate certificates require completion of Credit ESL level 4 courses (high-intermediate) and introductory coursework in designated pathways.
English as a Second Language
Advanced certificates require completion of Credit ESL level 5 courses (advanced) and introductory coursework in designated pathways.
