Health coverage is available to adjunct faculty members and their families who meet certain conditions. Visit the Employee Benefits page for more information. Scroll down on the page to find some particularly useful dropdown sections:

In short, you at least need to be teaching 40% of a full-time load (at GCC or a combination of GCC and other colleges) to qualify. You can find the full-time load for your division on the Office Hours webpage. For example, full-time load in the Math Division is 15 units, so you must be teaching at least 40% (so 6 units) per semester to qualify.
